As we move into the second half of the year sales at Arden continue to be strong. Even more encouraging are the changes and improvements I see everyday within the factory, both people and process. Change is never easy; however, it is a fundamental and necessary part of every evolving business. We need to adapt and move forward with new vigour and focus, ensuring that we bring our people with us, and where we are on differing paths, part company with respect, and re-engage with new passionate, vibrant people whom share Arden’s values and commitment. Our aim is to provide a sustainable and profitable future, long term employment, and where possible share the benefits of our success with the whole team. I am very proud to be at the helm of Arden at this time of significant growth, and proud of every individual within our organisation who is working to achieve our success.
John Sidebottom – Managing Director.
Brand Roll Out……………….
Defining a strong brand to enhance our reputation as being at the forefront of UK Timber window and Door Manufacturing & Installation is a factor of our continued development. To that end we have installed a stunning new front door. Manufactured by us of course! and have recently introduced an “On Brand” dress code for the shop floor. Nice to see the lads looking so smart.
In addition to the rebranding, May & June saw significant reinvestment and refocus with the installation of our New Biomass Boiler, Audits & recertification of FSC, ISO9001 & 14001 as well as our Constructionline Silver Status. Further planned investment in July & August will be focused towards further improving Health & Safety and working conditions for the employees, including a new canteen facility.
Arden works almost complete at The Grove in York.
Appointed by William Birch & Sons Ltd, The Grove is a specialist new build housing development designed to accommodate visually and sensory impaired residents. Arden’s Hathaway flush casements and Stratford doors were selected for the project, with Arden providing a full sub-contract supply and installation service. The project was commissioned by the Wilberforce Trust one of Yorks oldest Charities, and designed by Architects West+Machell.
We continue to be at the forefront of UK Timber Window & Door Manufacture and Installation because we have strong values, a product range, depth and quality second to none, and a focused team working towards a collective goal.
